When you optimize for those terms, you come up higher on searches for those niches, gather a wider audience, and expand the scope of your web efforts.

5. Keyword Optimization
Where keyword research helps you to discover the keywords that your users are searching, optimization is the process of placing those words into your content effectively.
There would be no point in doing keyword research if you weren’t going to use the words and phrases. You want to optimize all of your content as well as your home pages.
Each page on your site holds the potential to be optimized for specific keywords. The thing about optimizing for words, though, is that you have to pick the right ones.
While millions of people are probably searching “new cars,” your small car dealership probably shouldn’t try to optimize for that keyword phrase. Why?
Each keyword is being optimized for by a number of companies. The ones that most people are searching for are ones that huge, popular corporations have dominated in the search rankings.
This is unfortunate, but it doesn’t push you out of the running. There are a number of keywords with decently high volume and low competition. The most activity and the lowest competition is what you want to aim for.
Most keyword research platforms allow you to see who else is competing for a specific word. If you’re not sure, though, just go into an incognito tab and search the keywords you’re looking for.
You’ll see exactly which sites are optimized for that term and you can learn from them in order to compete with them.

Social media and SEO can often work hand in hand. While social media success is not listed as one of Google’s search ranking factors, there are certainly components of social media that feed into the success of an actual site.
It’s clear that if you have one million people sifting through your social media platforms every month and you have a link to your website in your bio, some of that traffic is going to trickle back and lead to sales.
That’s an extreme example, but the principle holds true with all social media traffic. Additionally, social media is an excellent avenue to push your content out toward numerous audiences. Your user base is going to get used to a normal flow of content creation and depend on that to know when new things are happening with your company.
7. Use Pay-Per-Click Marketing
Pay-per-click (PPC) marketing is arguably the best way to market your brand, site, and posts online.
Google has its own PPC platform that allows you to create ads and place them in front of specific demographics. This will be a huge help to you as you’re just getting started out because Google allows you to reach users without any work.
You create the ad, and the search engine or social media platform takes care of the rest for you. Additionally, you don’t have to worry about going over budget at all.
Where traditional ad companies make you pay exorbitant amounts of money before you know how well the ad will do, PPC platforms don’t make you pay a cent until someone clicks on your ad. Further, each click you receive ads to your bill until you’ve run out of a predetermined budget, at which point the ad is removed.
